When Jade D. learned she needed a surgical procedure to have a cyst removed, the financial cost worried her most.
“2023 was a punch to the gut for me, health-wise,” Jade said. “It was a tough year, and just a lot of worry and uncertainty.”

On top of worrying about everything else, it was so helpful to have one less thing to worry about,” Jade said. “Before finding out that I even needed surgery, there were a lot of hoops to jump through to get seen by specialists and whatnot. So, when you all came along, it was a relief, truly.”
Spreading the Word to Colleagues
