Dickon Waterfield

Dickon Waterfield has spent over a decade in digital health, working closely with some of the largest employers in the U.S. to understand and tackle the challenges benefits leaders are facing. 

Since February 2024, he has served as the President of Lantern, the Specialty Care Platform that helps employers reduce costs and improve health outcomes for surgery, cancer and infusions. In his role as President, Dickon leads the full commercial function and is highly focused on key initiatives like developing partnerships with national health plans. Dickon previously served as Lantern’s Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer, playing a key role in developing the company’s cancer care offering and developing a best-in-class commercial function that drives tremendous growth.  

Before joining Lantern, he was the Chief Commercial Officer at WithMe Health, a pharmacy benefit manager. Prior to that, he helped run Big Health, a digital therapeutics company with a focus on mental health. During his time there, Dickon grew the business to cover 2.5 million members. Dickon accelerated growth at Big Health by launching a first-of-its-kind strategic partnership with CVS, which became the CVS Point Solution Management System. Prior to his professional career, Dickon attended and graduated with a bachelor’s from Eton College and a master’s from The University of Edinburgh.
