Steve Jones
Professor of the Practice of Strategy and Entrepreneurship
As the lead independent director for Lantern, Steve brings international experience across a number of industries where he’s helped to develop strategies, spearhead change, and built new capabilities. Steve also serves on the board for Glen Raven. He’s a former board member for State Farm Insurance, Bank of America, Progress Energy, and Premiere Global Communications. His previous experience also includes serving as Dean of UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2003 to 2008. Before becoming dean, Steve was CEO of the Australian and New Zealand Banking Group and ANZ – New Zealand Ltd.
