David brings vast experience from the technology industry to the Lantern board. He is the founder of Serent and is currently on the board of One Medical. David also served as co-CEO for ServiceSource, which assisted many of the world’s leading tech companies.

As a Principal, John is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, managing business due diligence processes, and supporting Serent’s portfolio companies. He is primarily focused on companies within the healthcare and software sectors.
Prior to joining Serent Capital, John worked at Deutsche Bank as an Investment Banker in the Global Technology group in San Francisco. While there, he assisted clients in the Software, eCommerce, and Digital Media spaces execute on M&A transactions, equity offerings and debt financings.
John holds a B.A. in Economics and History with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated with honors.

Tom Dundon is the chief executive officer, owner and governor of the Carolina Hurricanes. Mr. Dundon is also the Chairman and Managing Partner of Dundon Capital Partners, a Dallas-based private investment firm. His investment activities have spanned the sports, entertainment, healthcare, real estate, hospitality, technology, automotive and financial services sectors.
Born in New York and raised in Dallas, Mr. Dundon attended Southern Methodist University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1993 and served as president of Phi Gamma Delta. Then, with a number of partners, he cofounded a business focused primarily on automobile financing, which over the next 10 years and through a series of transactions, became Santander Consumer USA (“SCUSA”), a large U.S. consumer finance company majority held by Banco Santander. Mr. Dundon served in various capacities for the company, and ultimately became chairman and chief executive officer.
In the summer of 2015, Mr. Dundon stepped aside as CEO of Dallas-based SCUSA to focus on his entrepreneurial investments via Dundon Capital Partners. Mr. Dundon and the firm actively pursue investments across industries. Key investments of Dundon Capital Partners include Lantern, a growth-stage healthcare services company, Pacific Elm Properties, a Dallas-area real estate company, Topgolf Callaway Brands Corp, the Carolina Hurricanes and a number of pickleball-related companies, including Pickleball.com and the PPA Tour.

Jeremy Green is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Redmile Group, LLC, an investment firm that focuses on the health care sector. Prior to founding Redmile, Jeremy was cofounder and director of research at Steeple Capital and an analyst at Andor Capital. Prior to moving to the US in 2004, Jeremy was a managing director at Citigroup and head of the European Healthcare Research Team covering medical technology, biotech, and health care services. Jeremy has a master’s degree (biological sciences) from Oxford University. Having previously been a Trustee and non-executive director of Prince of Wales Foundation, he currently serves as a chairman of Prince’s Trust America. Jeremy is a Fellow of the fourth class of the Health Innovators Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Jeremy and his family currently live in Paris.

As the lead independent director for Lantern, Steve brings international experience across a number of industries where he’s helped to develop strategies, spearhead change, and built new capabilities.
Steve also serves on the board for Glen Raven. He’s a former board member for State Farm Insurance, Bank of America, Progress Energy, and Premiere Global Communications. His previous experience also includes serving as Dean of UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2003 to 2008. Before becoming dean, Steve was CEO of the Australian and New Zealand Banking Group and ANZ – New Zealand Ltd.

John brings a passion for democratizing access to quality healthcare to his role as our CEO and Director. Since taking the helm at Lantern, John has helped grow the company’s membership from approximately 100k members in 2016 to the millions we support today, making Lantern the leader in the COE, bundled payments and high-performance network categories.
John’s leadership experience includes being a co-founding partner at Dundon Capital Partners, an executive leadership team member at Santander Consumer USA, and a Vice President within the investment bank at J.P. Morgan in New York.
John graduated from Colgate University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and completed the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth
He lives in Dallas with his wife, their three sons and two dogs.
